Welcome! We are Tom & Kim Arcobello. While providing non-medical home care services to seniors in the Oakland County community for several years, many of our families have been confronted with the challenges of accepting later life moves for loved ones. Many families delay the decision due to uncertainty, only to risk the saftey of a loved one.
Acting as family advocates, we see firsthand the family stress caused by the overwhelming decisions to transition a loved one to a Senior Community, coping with a sudden illness or loss of a loved one, organizing credible services to safely downsize and relocate households, while accepting the emotions associated with letting go of those cherished memories. Feeling the pain of our families, we were compelled to do more for families by starting T.L.C. SENIOR TRANSITIONS, a business helping families to minimize the stress of downsizing memories and making the move a charitable family event.

We start by our FREE in-home consultation, during which we develop a detailed plan following our step by step process. No relocation is the same and every family is different, that’s why we take the time and effort to create a personalized plan for you.
After the plan is developed, we will assist in recommending a community that best suites you and your family’s life style. For downsizing we take care of all the work, the first step is determining the items that you want to keep, can keep, donate, or sell.
Then we coordinate a professional estate sale with all the items that you have chosen to sell, donate selected items, and prepare the rest of your valuables for the move to your new home. All unpacking and preparation of the new living quarters can be done by us, as well as any coordination of final repairs in the previous home.
We make transitioning and downsizing easier by relocating memories. Memories are things no person should ever lose, that’s why we not only pack and move your items but we try our very best to make your new home feel just like your previous home, by placing items that you moved to specified locations using detailed pictures and schematics.
